Company History
Severa was founded in Lappeenranta, Finland, in 2004 by Ari-Pekka Salovaara and Jari Kärkkäinen, graduates of the Lappeenranta University of Technology, Department of Computer Sciences.
Severa grew at a staggering 1500% over five years to become the premier PSA tool in Finland. In the summer of 2010 Severa was acquired by Visma. Visma Severa continues to grow and develop for the benefit of its customers, and now has offices in Lappeenranta, Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen.
