Famous quotes containing the words seventh and/or parliament:
“Then, anger
was a crease in the brow
and silence
a catastrophe.
Then, making up
was a mutual smile
and a glance
a gift.
Now, just look at this mess
that youve made of that love.
You grovel at my feet
and I berate you
and cant let my anger go.”
—Amaru (c. seventh century A.D.)
“He felt that it would be dull times in Dublin, when they should have no usurping government to abuse, no Saxon Parliament to upbraid, no English laws to ridicule, and no Established Church to curse.”
—Anthony Trollope (18151882)
