- Candidates appearing for the first time for a particular type of entry are paid ac-3 tier to-and-fro journey fare from the place of their residence to the place where they have come for the interview. For normal entry, a candidate appearing for the first time is entitled to a AC III- tier railway fare.
- For candidates appearing for commission in Indian Air Force for Pilot Flying Branch Entry have to undergo the Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (P.A.B.T.) after the completion of SSB results. It is a test which one can appear once in a lifetime. It has two stages- Written (MCQ) and Machine Test.
