Timing
In Canada, Seedy Saturdays and Seed Sundays continue to be grass-roots-organized events that occur in different places at different times. Almost all of these events occur in the late winter, with a few in the autumn. In 2012 there were more than 100 events held in Canada.
In Britain, a Seedy Sunday is held on the first Sunday in February in Brighton and Hove each year. Other grass-roots-organized events also occur.
