College
Wideberg played for the Brevard Community College baseball team in 2005 and 2006. Under Head Coach Ernie Rosseau, assistant coach Bryan Rahal and the tutelage of Pitching Coach Rich "Chooch" Coleman, Wideberg blossomed, earning First-Team All Southern Conference honors in 2006. Wideberg earned a trip to the Florida sophomore Junior College All-star showcase game in the fall of 2005 and struck out four batters in two innings of duty.
