Today STG is the largest in pipe tobacco worldwide, also the largest producer of cigars in Europe, and the third largest worldwide after Altadis and Swedish Match.
The Group employs approx 9,500 people, of whom 7,400 are in Denmark.
STG has cigar sales companies and production facilities in Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, UK, Canada, USA, Dominican Republic and Indonesia, and sells 1.7 billion cigars annually to 115 countries.
STG's smoking tobacco production takes place in Assens and Holstebro in Denmark and ST sells 4,700 tons smoking tobacco annually in 70 countries.
