After the 2010 Winter Olympics, the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club has hosted numerous Learn to Curl events at its three locations for hundreds of new curlers.
The SFBACC hosts an annual tournament called the Golden Gate Bonspiel during the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
