Sam Axe - Sam Axe As Chuck Finley

Sam Axe As Chuck Finley

"Chuck Finley" is an alias used by Commander Samuel "Sam" Axe, USN (ret.), one of the fictional characters from the television series Burn Notice, played by Bruce Campbell. "Chuck Finley" turns into "Charles Finley" when Sam feels that his cover needs to be more sophisticated and up-scale.

Chuck Finley has also been depicted as the alter ego, con-artist persona of Sam Axe.

Famous quotes containing the words sam, axe and/or chuck:

If you’re looking for my fingerprints, you’re a little early!
Robert Pirosh, U.S. screenwriter, George Seaton, George Oppenheimer, and Sam Wood. Dr. Hugo Z. Hackenbush (Groucho Marx)

I had an old axe which nobody claimed, with which by spells in winter days, on the sunny side of the house, I played about the stumps which I had got out of my bean-field. As my driver prophesied when I was plowing, they warmed me twice,—once while I was splitting them, and again when they were on the fire, so that no fuel could give out more heat. As for the axe,... if it was dull, it was at least hung true.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

This is the only “wet” community in a wide area, and is the rendezvous of cow hands seeking to break the monotony of chuck wagon food and range life. Friday night is the “big time” for local cowboys, and consequently the calaboose is called the “Friday night jail.”
