Salvatore Antonio "Sal" Naturile, also known as Donald Matterson (born c. 1953/1954, Keansburg, New Jersey-died August 23, 1972, South Ozone Park, Queens) was an American bank robber who, along with John Wojtowicz, inspired the 1975 film Dog Day Afternoon. In the film he is portrayed by actor John Cazale.
