- Bae (Yong-min) nearly drowned in the river the cast were filming. According to Bae, the director thought he was initially playing in the water, not knowing that he was about to drown. This event happened went Bae (Yong-min) jumped into the river to pick up the very shoe Park (Ahn-chae) threw into the river while filming the drama.
- Salut D'Amour is Bae Yong-jun's, Kwon Oh-joong's, Kim Ji-ho's and Park Jun-hee's debut drama.
- Bae later acted as Choi Hyun-jun in the 1996 Korean drama, Papa as the author of the Korean version of Salut D'Amour.
