Saint Vincent And The Grenadines At The 2006 Commonwealth Games

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was represented at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

Famous quotes containing the words saint, vincent, commonwealth and/or games:

O my God, what must a soul be like when it is in this state! It longs to be all one tongue with which to praise the Lord. It utters a thousand pious follies, in a continuous endeavor to please Him who thus possesses it.
    Teresa Of Avila, Saint (1515–1582)

I find this frenzy insufficient reason
For conversation when we meet again.
    —Edna St. Vincent Millay (1892–1950)

The commonwealth of Athens is become a forest of beasts.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

As long as lightly all their livelong sessions,
Like a yardful of schoolboys out at recess
Before their plays and games were organized,
They yelling mix tag, hide-and-seek, hopscotch,
And leapfrog in each other’s way all’s well.
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)
