The 2011 India Census reported that:
- In 2011 safidon has population 80,432
- Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%.
- Safidon has an average literacy rate of 65%, higher than the national average of 59.5%.
- Male literacy is 71% and female literacy is 58%.
- 14% of the population was under six years of age.
- Evenly distributed Hindu and Sikh population, with small Muslim and Christian communities.
