Controls
In the SAE control pattern, the left hand controls swing (left-right) and dipper (in-out), and the right hand controls the boom (up-down) and bucket (curl-uncurl).
- Left hand left = swing left.
- Left hand right = swing right.
- Left hand forward = boom down.
- Left hand back = boom up.
- Right hand left = bucket curl.
- Right hand right = bucket uncurl.
- Right hand forward = dipper out away from operator.
- Right hand back = dipper in toward operator.

An adult can put controls on a childs behaviorat least part of the timebut how do you put controls on what a child feels? An adult can impose controls on his own behaviorif hes grown upbut how does he order what he feels?”
