Rushden railway station is a railway station that once served the town of Rushden in Northamptonshire, England. It is now a heritage station at the end of a short running line.
The station was an intermediate stop on the Wellingborough to Higham Ferrers railway branch line that closed in 1969 even though British Rail, Midland Railway sector withdraw passenger trains in 1959, 10 years before.
In 1996 the station was bought by the Rushden Historical Transport Society. Since then the station has been restored to its former glory and forms the headquarters of the society and includes the Rushden Station Railway Museum. One of the society's aims is to re-open the line between Wellingborough and Higham Ferrers as the Rushden, Higham & Wellingborough Railway.
