Early Life
Robert "Dodot" Jaworski, Jr. was born on October 14, 1971. Father is former Senator Robert S. Jaworski,, Living Legend of Philippine basketball, and mother is Evelyn B. Jaworski, daughter of former Senator Ramon B. Revilla Sr. "DODOT" as he is commonly known, is the 2nd of 4 siblings, being the eldest boy. He went to grade school at Colegio San Agustin, Makati. Robert "Dodot" Jaworski, Jr. graduated High School Valedictorian in Brent International School Manila in 1990.
He spent his Freshman and Sophomore years of College at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. In 1992, he moved back to the Philippines and finished his bachelors degree in Business Management at the Ateneo de Manila University. Dodot also played for the Ateneo Blue Eagle Varsity team, but his college career was abruptly halted due to a series of injuries that required corrective surgery.
Philippine Basketball Association team Ginebra San Miguel drafted him in 1995 to join then playing coach Robert "Bobby" Jaworski. They achieved 1 championship together in 1997 under same company brand Gordon's Gin Boars.
He began his political career as a Councilor in the City of San Juan in 1995, at the age of 23. In 1998, he served as Chief of Staff at the office of Senator Jaworski for 6 years, prior to his being elected as Congressman for the lone district of Pasig City in 2004.
