Road Rules: Europe

Road Rules: Europe was third season of the now cancelled series, Road Rules. It took place exclusively on the continent of Europe, the first time the series ever ventured outside the United States. This was also the only cast in Road Rules history in which non-American citizens outnumbered American citizens. It premiered on MTV on January 6, 1997 and concluded on March 31, 1997.

Famous quotes containing the words road and/or europe:

The road to hell is paved with works-in-progress.
    Philip Roth (b. 1933)

What passes for identity in America is a series of myths about one’s heroic ancestors. It’s astounding to me, for example, that so many people really seem to believe that the country was founded by a band of heroes who wanted to be free. That happens not to be true. What happened was that some people left Europe because they couldn’t stay there any longer and had to go someplace else to make it. They were hungry, they were poor, they were convicts.
    James Baldwin (1924–1987)
