History

The team was established in 1974. That season, they won the league title. For the 1977 season, the team was renamed the New England Oceaneers. After the 1977 season, the team moved to Indianapolis, Indiana and become the Indianapolis Daredevils. The Oceaneers played their home games at Pierce Field in East Providence, RI. In
