Rasheed Muhammad (born 1972) is an American banker. He is a Senior Vice President for SunTrust Private Wealth Management Sports and Entertainment Specialty Group in Atlanta, Georgia and the Client Advisor to sports and entertainment professionals. He has been with SunTrust for ten years. He has been referred to as a music industry heavyweight.
Prior to joining SunTrust, Muhammad was a dual associate of Bank of America and Bank of America Investment Services, for over 6 years, where he began bridging financial services with the music industry.
Muhammad holds the Series 7, 63, 65, life accident & sickness, and variable products licenses, and is a graduate of The University of South Carolina Columbia where he served post graduate on the advisory board for the College of Hospitality, Retail, & Sports Management.
Muhammad previously served as Vice President for the Atlanta Chapter of The Recording Academy (2007) and has served on the Board of Governor’s for the Atlanta Chapter of The Recording Academy.
