Ras Al Khaimah Academy is a co-educational school located in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 1975 as the Ras Al Khaimah English Speaking School. It is owned by Sheikh Saoud bin Saqr Al Qassimi, who is ruler of the emirate . It educations students from Kindergarten up to Grade 12. Students were taught the International Baccalaureate curriculum until 2012 but are now educated with GCE Advanced Level.
The school enjoys significant support from the local Ras Al Khaimah community and this is reflected in demand for student places, particularly in the Primary Years. Currently there are 1700 primary students and 350 secondary students.
The school has a number of extra curricular activities, including a football team, which participates in a league and a cup, a basketball team, a volleyball team, and finally a group of students who create the annual yearbook.
