Raining Pleasure (EP)

Raining Pleasure by The Triffids was released as a 12" EP in 1984 and reached #95 on the Australian Charts.

Although the EP has not been in print for some time, selected tracks appeared on the Love in Bright Landscapes and Australian Melodrama compilations, while all seven tracks were compiled on Beautiful Waste and Other Songs in 2008.

"Raining Pleasure" was covered by Australian band, The Paradise Motel, on their 1996 EP, Some Deaths Take Forever, which is mostly a heavily processed instrumental, with few recognisable vocal fragments.

Greek indie band, Raining Pleasure, based the name of their band on the song "Raining Pleasure".

Famous quotes containing the words raining and/or pleasure:

Don’t tell me it’s raining when you’re peeing on me!
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)

I have always suspected that too much knowledge is a dangerous thing. It is a boon to people who don’t have deep feelings; their pleasure comes from what they know about things, and their pride from showing off what they know. But this only emphasizes the difference between the artist and the scholar.
    Margaret Anderson (1886–1973)
