Rail Transport in Angola - Links With Neighbouring Countries

Links With Neighbouring Countries

There are currently (August 2012) no rail links with neighbouring countries. The only such link having existed was the one of the Benguela railway with what is now the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This line is currently being reconstructed, and its completion up to the Angola-DRC border is promised to be reestablished by the end of 2012.

Rail links to all other neighboring countries are planned; details see below.

I have as healthy flesh and blood as any rhymer’s had,

I ran, I ran, from my love’s side because my Heart went mad.

[N]o combination of dictator countries of Europe and Asia will halt us in the path we see ahead for ourselves and for democracy.... The people of the United States ... reject the doctrine of appeasement.
