Purulia Sadar West subdivision is a subdivision of the Purulia district in the state of West Bengal, India. It consists of Jhalda municipality and seven community development blocks: Jhalda–I, Jhalda–II, Jaipur, Arsha, Bagmundi, Balarampur and Barabazar. The seven blocks contain 59 gram panchayats and two census towns. The subdivision has its headquarters at Jhalda.
