Music Video and Promotion

The music video is set on a beach and features clips from The Beach movie. The video was filmed on Holkham beach in Norfolk, England. It featured the girls walking by the beach at night, with various camera effects. Scenes were also filmed in a jungle-esque house with bamboo and trees. On 8 May 2000, the video won the Loaded Award as best single of the year.

The group performed the song at the 2000 MTV Europe Music Awards, and at the World Sports Awards in 2000. It was also performed in Top of the Pops. In 2002, Osymyso sampled the song on his album Intro-Inspection (2002). The band then performed a live version of the song at the BBC Live with Jools Holland Shows. The song was played with just a piano and a drum set.

Famous quotes containing the words music, video and/or promotion:

It was a poetic recreation to watch those distant sails steering for half-fabulous ports, whose very names are a mysterious music to our ears.... It is remarkable that men do not sail the sea with more expectation. Nothing was ever accomplished in a prosaic mood.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

These people figured video was the Lord’s preferred means of communicating, the screen itself a kind of perpetually burning bush. “He’s in the de-tails,” Sublett had said once. “You gotta watch for Him close.”
    William Gibson (b. 1948)

Parents can fail to cheer your successes as wildly as you expected, pointing out that you are sharing your Nobel Prize with a couple of other people, or that your Oscar was for supporting actress, not really for a starring role. More subtly, they can cheer your successes too wildly, forcing you into the awkward realization that your achievement of merely graduating or getting the promotion did not warrant the fireworks and brass band.
    Frank Pittman (20th century)
