The college's Hospitality and Tourism Management program has been ranked first in the nation by both industry recruiters and an evaluation conducted by Virginia Tech that applied the U.S. News & World Report methodology to the academic unit level. Additionally, Purdue's speech pathology graduate program is ranked number 2 in the nation, tied along with Northwestern University and University of Wisconsin – Madison according to the U.S. News & World Report. Aside from these rankings, there are no current national rankings for consumer and family science programs.
