Projecto Vocal

Projecto Vocal (Vocal Project in Portuguese) is a Portuguese a cappella sextet, formed in 2002 at Branca, in the municipality of Albergaria-a-Velha, located in the Aveiro district, Portugal.

Projecto Vocal tries not to restrict itself to one music style, with its repertoire including such heterogeneous styles as Pop, Rock, Popular, Gospel and Classical. Since its start, Projecto Vocal has already performed in some local events, as the Grupo Coral da Jobra (Jobra's Choir) Christmas Concert (2002, 2004 and 2005), the S. Vicente festivities (2005), Conservatório de Música da Jobra's 2005/2006 School Year Ending Concert and joint concerts with Grupo Coral da Jobra (2005) and Orquestra de Câmara do Conservatório de Música da Jobra (Jobra's Music Conservatory's Orchestra) (2005 and 2006). At the 13th of May, 2006, Projecto Vocal had its solo premiere in a very well received by the public Coffee Concert.

Since September 6th, 2005 this group has its own internet space, the Projecto Vocal's Blog (in Portuguese).
