Priyanath Chattopadhyay is an internationally acclaimed sitar player of the Seni Beenkar Gharana of Maihar of Indian classical music. He has performed Sitar recitals at different concerts globally from the age of eleven. He is real globe trotter since then.He is also a successful entrepreneur in his own right .

Priyanath holds a master's degree in the social sciences from Kalyani University, India, and is the editor in chief of Saturday Times Media Group published from India and United Kingdom. His initiation of Saturday Times Education and Career project in a joint venture with Government of West Bengal, India and Saturday Times group, created a ripple among the state youth. It creates a huge job opportunity for this state. As the editor in chief he has also introduced West Bengal Community College Initiative in west Bengal in association with different leading MNCs. The Saturday Times Education and Career program is launched by Lord Swraj Paul, Baroness Sandy Verma, Former Minister of West Bengal Government Subhash Chakrabarty and lots of other dignitaries from House of Lords, House of Commons and Government of West Bengal in Kolkata.
