Praveen Kumar ( pronunciation, born 2 October 1986) is an Indian right-hand medium-pace bowler. In first class cricket, he plays for Uttar Pradesh. He relies on his ability to swing the ball both ways along with line and length.
Kumar made his international debut against Pakistan at Jaipur in November 2007 and made his Test debut against West Indies at Kingston in June 2011. He took a five wicket haul in the first Test match of India tour of England, 2011.
In the Indian Premier League he plays for Kings XI Punjab.
