The Penguins opted not to join and entered the more local Empire Junior B Hockey League. In 2006, the Penguins entered a second Junior "B" team in the Continental Hockey Association's Premier Junior B Division. In 2007, the Penguin created a third and forth entry for the CHA's Major and Minor Junior C leagues. In 2009 the organization added a Jr. A team that began play in Fall 2009 in the NA3HL.

Famous quotes containing the word history:

    You that would judge me do not judge alone
    This book or that, come to this hallowed place
    Where my friends’ portraits hang and look thereon;
    Ireland’s history in their lineaments trace;
    Think where man’s glory most begins and ends
    And say my glory was I had such friends.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)

    In the history of the human mind, these glowing and ruddy fables precede the noonday thoughts of men, as Aurora the sun’s rays. The matutine intellect of the poet, keeping in advance of the glare of philosophy, always dwells in this auroral atmosphere.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

    For a transitory enchanted moment man must have held his breath in the presence of this continent, compelled into an aesthetic contemplation he neither understood nor desired, face to face for the last time in history with something commensurate to his capacity for wonder.
    F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896–1940)
