The inventory of schools in 1995 indicate the presence of 26 public elementary schools and 5 private schools, one of which is the Evangelical Christian School, which offers complete elementary education. There are also three private and five government-owned secondary schools accounted. Schools of higher education include the Camarines Sur State Agricultural College, now known as the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), the Kolehiyo ng Mamamayan (College of the People),Saint Louise de Marillac School and other private institutions offering diploma courses
