Peter Fincham - Personal Life

Personal Life

Fincham's wife, Clare, runs a charity, Second Space, which provides respite care for the ill and disabled and their carers. It is unclear as to whether the charity still functions, as the last report, was 2008, and shows very little income or expenditure. Fincham's family live in London. Musically he enjoys Bob Dylan and Neil Young.

Outside of broadcasting, Fincham co-edited The Utterly Utterly Merry Comic Relief Christmas Book with author Douglas Adams in 1986.

Famous quotes containing the words personal and/or life:

[The election] ... was an event in which, so far as the personal side is concerned, the victory was to him who lost and the defeat to him who won. I can say that never in the last fifteen years have I had the peace of mind that I have since the election. I have almost a feeling of elation.
    Herbert Hoover (1874–1964)

And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
    Bible: Hebrew Exodus 21:23.
