Personal Journals is the first official album by American hip hop artist Sage Francis.
It was released on April 16, 2002. It is Sage Francis' first album released on Anticon, following the self-released Sick Of series of albums. Recording sessions took place during 2001. Production was handled by various producers, including Sixtoo, Jel and DJ Mayonnaise. Upon its release, Personal Journals has very good reviews from critics, including a 9.5 rating on RapReviews.com. The single "Climb Trees" was released on April 9, 2002.
