Pat Mustard

Father Ted is a cult comedy produced by Hat Trick Productions for British broadcaster Channel 4, running for three series and a special from 21 April 1995 until 1 May 1998 over 25 episodes. The main characters comprised Father Ted Crilly (Dermot Morgan) and his fellow priests Father Dougal McGuire (Ardal O'Hanlon) and Father Jack Hackett (Frank Kelly), all exiled on Craggy Island living together with the fourth main character, housekeeper Mrs Doyle (Pauline McLynn). All four actors appeared from the first to the last episodes, from "Good Luck, Father Ted" to "Going to America". Pauline McLynn also played a nun in "Flight Into Terror", in which Mrs Doyle appears only briefly.

Famous quotes containing the words pat and/or mustard:

    Helen, Helen,
    the kitchen is your dog
    and you pat it
    and love it
    and keep it clean.
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)

He put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”
    Bible: New Testament, Matthew 13:31,32.
