Pantheon-Assas University - History

History

Pantheon-Assas was established so as to take over from the now defunct law and economics faculty of the historic University of Paris, which had been founded in 1257 by Robert de Sorbon, and which ceased to exist on December 31, 1970, following the student protests of May 1968.
