Background
Palak Muchhal was born on 30 March 1992into a middle class Maheshwari Marwari family in Indore. Her mother, Amita Muchhal, is a homemaker and her father, Rajkumar Muchhal, serves as an accountant in a private firm. She has one younger brother, Palash Muchhal. She is doing her final year of B.Com from Queens' College, Indore.
Muchhal started singing when she was aged four. She has been trained in Indian classical music and can sing in 17 different languages.
