- Arizona State and Stanford will rejoin the conference as full members for the 2013-14 season. Arizona State will move their Division 3 team up to Division 2 while Stanford will come off probation.
Of the remaining Pac-12 universities:
- Arizona competes in Division 1 in the Western Collegiate Hockey League of the ACHA (though it is a founding member of the PAC-8).
- Colorado will move up from Division 2 to Division 1 in the Western Collegiate Hockey League of the ACHA for the 2013-14 season.
- Oregon State currently does not have an ice hockey team.
