As in almost all the metropolitan area of Sao Paulo, the climate is subtropical, specifically humid subtropical. Little hot summer and rainy mild winter and categories. The average annual temperature is around 18 °C, being the month of July the coldest (average 12 °C) and warmest February (average 30 °C). The annual rainfall is around 1400 mm.
