Description
It was an Executive Agency within the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure in the Northern Ireland Executive. The two Ordnance Surveys of Ireland and that of Britain share a common heritage, the split into three separate organisations being one result of the partition of Ireland in the 1920s.
