Northern Ireland Labour Party - Labour '87

Labour '87

In 1987 the remains of the party merged with Labour Party of Northern Ireland (formed in 1985 by former SDLP leader Paddy Devlin), the Ulster Liberal Party and the United Labour Party to form the Labour '87 group. Famous quotes containing the word labour:

All’s pathos now. The body that was gross,
Rank, ravenous, disgusting in the act or in repose,
All fever, filth and sweat, its bestial strength
And bestial decay, by pain and labour grows at length
    Fragile and luminous.
    Frank Templeton Prince (b. 1912)
