North Sinai Governorate (Arabic: محافظة شمال سيناء Muḥāfaẓat Shimāl Sīnāʾ) is one of the governorates of Egypt. Located in the eastern part of the country, it encompasses the northern half of the Sinai Peninsula. Its capital is the city of Arish.
