North Halifax Grammar School - Sixth Form

Sixth Form

The Sixth form is the largest in Calderdale, currently offering a large range of academic A-levels. In 2006, 449 A2 entries were made, with a 98.7% pass rate.

From 2009 the North Halifax Grammar School sixth form centre was built and finished for use. It was designed to give the sixth form more space around the school. This extended the common room and added six brand new classrooms.

Famous quotes containing the words sixth and/or form:

    The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose, and pouch on side,
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
    And whistles in his sound.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

People resent articulacy, as if articulacy were a form of vice.
    Frederic Raphael (b. 1931)
