The Barrie line has a weekday service consisting of five trains southbound from Allandale Waterfront GO Station in Barrie to Union Station in Toronto, and five trains northbound from Union Station in the afternoon.
The ticket office at Newmarket GO Station sells tickets exclusively on weekdays between 6:05 am and 7:50 am. This is the specific time period when the southbound Barrie - Bradford GO Trains reach Newmarket. The exception to this is on the last two work days of each month, when the station sells tickets between the hours of 17:50 and 19:15 to accommodate riders purchasing monthly passes for the following month. At other times of the day, the only other location to purchase GO bus or train tickets is at the GO Agency in the Newmarket Bus Terminal, which has extended hours.
