New Zealand Indoor Bowls is made up of 37 centres and 767 clubs covering all of New Zealand. Membership peaked in 1963 with 73,100 affiliated members, today it has an estimated 30,000 members currently affiliated. Many members are attracted to the sport due to the competitiveness and skill required to successfully compete.
