New Seasons Market is a chain of privately owned grocery stores operating in the Portland Metro area of Oregon and Washington. Founded by three families and 50 of their friends in 1999, the company currently operates 12 stores in the greater Portland/Vancouver metropolitan area, including: Hillsboro, Beaverton, Happy Valley, Vancouver, and Lake Oswego with one new store under construction in Northeast Portland's Eliot neighborhood. Many of the products offered are organic and produced locally in the Pacific Northwest. The stores differ from most grocers by offering natural and conventional products side by side.
