At 26 he became the youngest FIFA Licensed football agent in the world at the time when he acquired his license in 1999. Clients include Danny Cadamarteri, Geremi, Kevin McLeod, Richie Partridge, Lee Trundle and Mark Wilson, Bruno N'Gotty
In 1999 he set up his own company, Sportstar Promotions Ltd, based in Speke, which he is managing director of.
In 2005 Neil Sang also became the first agent ever outside the Premier League to negotiate an Image Rights deal when Lee Trundle signed his lucrative agreement with Swansea City, then of Football League One
In 2006 and 2007 rumours within the agency business surfaced that Sang and his company were the subject of "buy-out" bids from several other agencies but it remains under Sang's ownership according to records Companies House.
