Nausherwani

Nausherwani (Balochi: نوشیروانی) is a Baloch tribe in Balochistan. Like some Baloch tribes, the Nausherwanis also have a Persian origin, claiming a descent from legendary Persian King Nausherwan-e-Adil (Nausherwan, The Just). Most Nausherwanis were Zoroastrians before conversion to Islam. Within Balochistan, Nausherwanis are divided into two sub tribes:first the Nawabs of Kharan, and second the sardars of Kholwa in Awaran district.
