The Natal Duikers and The Wildebeest
The Duikers is a club directly affiliated to the KwaZulu-Natal Rugby Union and fields representative provincial youth and amateur teams. The Duikers play in annual matches against the Quaggas (a similar team out of Gauteng) and compete internationally in the Malaysia Tens.
Until 2009 a second senior provincial team was called the Natal Wildebeest, competing against the Transvaal Rooibokke and later in the Vodacom Cup. Since 2010 this team has been brought into the professional Sharks set-up and competes in the Vodacom Cup as a Sharks XV.
