MJ Morning Show - Music Heard On The Show

Music Heard On The Show

The show's background music included theme songs from game shows such as The $10,000 Pyramid, The Price Is Right (used the 1972-2007 theme), Match Game (used the alternate theme from the 1973-82 CBS and syndicated versions), the FOX reality show American Idol, Wheel of Fortune (used the 1983-89 theme on rare occasions), and the original 1976-85 ABC and syndicated versions of Family Feud with Richard Dawson (used the win cue edit).

One of the show's past opening themes was the same as on the NBC drama Third Watch. Sound effects on the show included a buzzer from the 1999 revival of Feud and the bell and original losing horns from Price. When comedian Drew Carey replaced Bob Barker as the host of Price in 2007, the theme and sound effects from Barker's version were still heard on the show.

Famous quotes containing the words music, heard and/or show:

The music of an unhappy people, of the children of disappointment; they tell of death and suffering and unvoiced longing toward a truer world, of misty wanderings and hidden ways.
    —W.E.B. (William Edward Burghardt)

I have heard many years of telling,
And many years should see some change.
The ball I threw while playing in the park
Has not yet reached the ground.
    Dylan Thomas (1914–1953)

It is the curse of a certain order of mind, that it can never rest satisfied with the consciousness of its ability to do a thing. Still less is it content with doing it. It must both know and show how it was done.
    Edgar Allan Poe (1809–1849)
