Mississippi Highway 53 (MS 53) is a state highway in Mississippi. The highway runs approximately 40 miles (64 km) from Lyman to Poplarville and is part of the Mississippi Highway System. It serves a total of 3 counties (Pearl River, Hancock and Harrison). The highway begins at the intersection of U.S. Highway 49 in Lyman and ends at the intersection of Mississippi Highway 26 in Poplarville.
