Types of Missile Approach Warning (MAW) Systems
Three different technologies have been used for MAW systems i.e.
- Pulse Doppler Radar
- Infra Red
- Ultra Violet
based systems. Each technology has their advantages and shortcomings which can be summarized as follows:
