Ministry Of Foreign Affairs (Romania)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania (Romanian: Ministerul Afacerilor Externe) is one of the fifteen ministries of the Government of Romania.
The current Foreign Minister was Teodor Baconschi who was dismissed on 23 January 2012 after inappropriate commentary regarding the 2012 Romanian protests in which he insulted the people in the streets. The next day Cristian Diaconescu, from a non-elected party that formed in the Parliament after the defection of several members of other parties, was named by the Romanian president as Minister of the Foreign Affairs.

Famous quotes containing the words ministry, foreign and/or affairs:
“The State has but one face for me: that of the police. To my eyes, all of the States ministries have this single face, and I cannot imagine the ministry of culture other than as the police of culture, with its prefect and commissioners.”
—Jean Dubuffet (19011985)
“Its not that I dont want to be a beauty, that I dont yearn to be dripping with glamor. Its just that I cant see how any woman can find time to do to herself all the things that must apparently be done to make herself beautiful and, having once done them, how anyone without the strength of mind of a foreign missionary can keep up such a regime.”
—Cornelia Otis Skinner (19011979)
“Since the affairs of men rest still incertain,
Lets reason with the worst that may befall.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
